A Leadership Gap Africa Can't Afford
Over the past decade, Uganda and the wider region have made significant progress in digitisation across government, financial services, telecommunications, and enterprise systems. However, the pace of digital adoption has not been matched by the maturation of digital leadership structures.
Chief Information Officers and senior technology executives now carry responsibilities that extend far beyond infrastructure delivery. They are custodians of cyber resilience, data trust, AI governance, operational continuity, and increasingly, ESG accountability.
The CIO–CxO Digital Leadership Forum was established to address this gap: a credible, independent, execution-oriented leadership platform built for Africa's moment.
